FAQs
Answers to Common Client Questions
What type of assistance is included with an extended support package?
Examples of support services include diagnosing and resolving WebEOC board errors, correcting ArcGIS Online web app performance issues, fixing integration problems—such as with the ArcGIS Extension plugin—and minor configuration requests or tweaks.
Are support packages tied to a specific project?
While support packages are generally linked to a specific development project for billing purposes, extended support is applied on a per-client basis. For example, if a client has contracted with Dixon Civl Defense two separate times for WebEOC boards, one extended support package will cover all of the boards developed during those two projects.
Is there a difference between the monthly and yearly package?
There’s no difference between the monthly and yearly extended support package in terms of offerings. The yearly package offers a 16% discount over the monthly package.
How can I request extended support?
Extended support is typically added to a software development contract. Otherwise, a support contract can be drafted and signed at any point after the completion of a development project.
What’s not included in an extended support package?
Any boards, web apps, or resources previously installed by the client or by other parties are not eligible for support.
