Livingston, LA — Dixon Civil Defense is excited to announce its corporate membership in the Louisiana Emergency Preparedness Association (LEPA) as well as its membership in the Louisiana Business EOC Network. The two organizations are critical components of the emergency management community in Louisiana and provide opportunities for training and networking to thousands of professionals each year.
LEPA is a non-profit statewide organization of emergency preparedness and response practitioners dedicated to improving public safety during emergencies through collaboration, training, and professional development. LEPA is a co-host of the annual Louisiana Emergency Management Conference and also manages the Louisiana Emergency Manager (LEM) certification program.
The Louisiana Business EOC Network assists businesses and non-profit organizations with disaster preparedness, response, information sharing, and recovery efforts. Membership provides access to targeted alerts, a monthly disaster business newsletter, and enhanced coordination between government agencies and the private sector during emergencies.
