FAQs
Answers for Common Client Questions
What’s included in the Standard Project tier?
The Standard Project tier includes the implementation of any board from the WebEOC standard board set. This includes the installation of the board, light modification to match the client’s branding and organizational structure, as well as groups configuration to ensure users have appropriate permissions. For clients needing GIS support, this tier includes the implementation of basic ArcGIS web applications, including the creation of a web map and a few feature layers as needed. These projects are typically completed in a few days.
What’s included in the Premium Project tier?
The Premium Project tier is limited to WebEOC services. It includes the implementation of any board from the WebEOC premium board set. These boards are built for more specialized workflows, and implementation may take longer than a standard board due to the additional configuration and client feedback needed—sometimes up to a week or two.
What’s included in the Custom Project tier?
The Custom Project tier is reserved for unique WebEOC board or ArcGIS web application builds. Like the previous tiers, this includes installation and configuration. Instead of light modifications, this tier includes a custom process and design crafted to meet the client’s specific workflow needs. For GIS-specific projects, this tier includes the implementation and full customization of more complex ArcGIS web applications, including the creation of a web map and as many feature layers as needed. As these types of boards and web apps are larger in scale and complexity, expect a project timeline of anywhere from two to eight weeks.
How is the scope of a project determined?
A meeting is held with the client at the start of the project to outline goals and specific deliverables. A contract is created based on the meeting discussion. After the contract is signed by both parties, development begins.
Can I change project goals or tiers after development has started?
Yes, if client goals move or change mid-project, a change order may be added to the contract to address those new needs. Changes between tiers mid-project can be determined on a case-by-case basis.
Is ongoing support provided after the project is completed?
No, extended or long-term support is not included with the software development service; however, it can be added as a separate service to the solution contract.
What if I want to update an existing board or web application?
Requests like these are highly variable and will be considered on a case-by-case basis. These typically fall under the Custom Project tier.
